Mark Burnett is at it again. The Emmy Award winning executive producer who has brought us such hits as "Survivor" and "The Apprentice" is back again with The Casino Reality TV Show. This is the first reality show to give a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of a Las Vegas Casino. Set at the newly renovated and newly purchased Golden Nugget Casino in downtown Las Vegas, this show promises a step beyond the typical informational shows one might see on a travel channel by adding that "reality show" drama so many Americans have become obsessed with.

Enter Tim and Tom.Internet entrepeneurs Both are 34 year old multimillionaires who made their fortune during the Internet boom. Together they created Travelscape.com then sold it to Expedia.com for about 105 million dollars. They are the anxious new owners of The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino with gambling action. These two entrepreneurs are now living the long time dream of owning a casino and gambling house. The Casino will let us behind closed doors Monday nights (9/8C) to see first hand as the drama unfolds for these two new owners of The Golden Nugget. It is the biggest gambling venture of their lives. Will it pay off? slots bubbles craps list.their sign up bonus is ready for you baby

Keep checking back here for the latest updates on The Casino reality show on Fox TV. We will be writing new articles each week to keep you posted as new episodes are aired. Stay tuned!

Episode One - June 14

In this episode we immediately get to meet Tim and Tom, the new owners of The Golden Nugget Casino. Right away you'll notice (at least in this episode) that Tim does most of the talking. A good example is their "nerve racking" hearing  before the Nevada Gaming Commission to get their gambling license. Tim seems to be the one in the hot seat. Tim is asked many tough questions addressing possible mob ties and business dealing with a certain "Uncle". We as the viewer know they will be approved  for the license. None the less, it is interesting to see how strict this commission appears and how it works.

Also in this episode we get the chance to see just how far a group of good friends will go to see their friend (who is a virgin) get hooked up in Vegas. Annoying but funny.

We get a quick look at Andre Agassi investing in his 25 year old friendship with Tim dropping off a check for his piece of the the pie. How much? We don't know - yet.

Tim and Tom hire a local Big Band singer, Mark Dusk, who pretty much gets caught up in the politics (and politicians) of his new job. He also gets a huge helping of "the boss is always right". He is young, attractive, and confident in his talent. We'll see what happens here.

For the most part we don't see a lot of gambling in this episode, except for Big Chuck. He is a card counting professional. As a self proclaimed "high roller", he is as annoying as he is tall (6'8" to be exact). This "flagged" player tries to fly into the casino under the radar, but is detected almost immediately and put under surveillance as he throws his ego and money around. Alas, he gets his just desserts when he takes one of the dozens of women he flirts with up to his suite only to discover that she is in fact a he.

Stay tuned to next weeks episode. We will see what develops in this very entertaining and interesting new reality show - The Casino Reality Show

Episode Two - June 21

The Casino Realty TV Show > Episode Two/June 14In this episode we witness not only the landing of a "big fish" but how to keep him happy (somewhat). Meet Geoff Mills, the 28 year old real estate mogul who is the 'big fish' or 'whale'. He's in town with his posse (and huge wads of cash) for a weekend of drinking and gambling. Tim and Tom quickly lure him away from his usual haunt Mandalay by promising better odds at their Craps tables (Geoff's favorite game). Not to mention a 50 thousand dollar starter credit gambling which Geoff almost immediately blows through and more. Not only is Geoff losing at Craps, but he loses 8 grand on a 20 at the Blackjack table (most of us would think it would be a sure thing to win on a 20). It's all down hill from here as Geoff's girlfriend loses her purse which is said to have another 25 thousand dollars in it! Finally tensions boil over when Geoff and his buddies start ripping cards at the Baccarat table (which is NOT illegal as long as surveillance can see the actual numbers). When surveillance realizes that they can't in fact read the numbers they notify Tim who reacts by actually going to the table where Geoff and his crew are playing and proceeds to confront them himself which only seems to really make the situation worst. Down 200 thousand dollars Geoff takes his crew over to Mandalay leaving some of the Nugget executives in a quandary as to how to get him back. When Geoff gambling returns the next morning to retrieve his things from the hotel room he is met by a few upper management types who "schmooze" him and his friends all day to get him back. Come on guys, after a high roller loses that kind of coin in your joint it's the LEAST you can do!

While all this is going on we also meet Virginia, David, and Beverly. They are swingers in town to find new friends (many new friends) to play with. While they are at Zax night club listening to resident big band singer Matt Dusk (who just happens to be singing 'Love is a loaded bullet') they notice a young married couple Chris and Maya at another table. When the happy swingers gambling approach the unsuspecting couple they are pleased to find that (while at first they are skittish) they are curious to the lifestyle and gambling agree to tag along for an evening of partying. Just like that you ask?  Well, after getting extremely close to taking part in some serious casino swinging, much to Maya's dismay, Chris decides that this is not the direction he wants to take his marriage and asks his wife to leave with him. She really wanted to stick around gambling , but she left with her husband anyway from the casino!

As far as owners Tim and Tom go, we realize that it gambling is in fact Tim that still does most of the talking while Tom pretty much hangs back (walking the hotel's mascot/dog Bally on the roof). It is here that Tom realizes that the two need an assistant. They quickly hire a guy named Zack and give him the title Executive Assist to the Owners of the casino. This quickly translates to "someone else to walk the dog". We'll see what happens there.

Check back here next week to see what happens when a  feud between a pit boss and a dealer heats up. Also, we'll see if the new female (who looks a lot like Britney Spears) singer has what it takes to sing at Zax.  Stay tuned - The Casino Reality Show

Episode Three - June 28

In this episode, we the viewer quickly realize that Tom in fact speaks! Yes, co-owner of The Golden Nugget Tom speaks. Just when most of us were getting used to seeing Tim doing most of the narration, Tom gets a little more involved in front of the camera. He's not bad either. He comes across as the low key thinker whereas Tim is a little more brash. This seems to work in their favor when trying to appease the hard to please.

Just how hard to please is quite evident when we are introduced to two so-called 'high rollers' John and Michael (Mike) from Jersey. These two breeze into Vegas to gamble. We quickly realize shortly after their check-in and VIP treatment that they clearly seem more interested in The Strip and how they much prefer the glitz that comes with NOT being downtown (which they say looks more like Tijuana) at The Golden Nugget. A prime example to their discontent comes when they are shown to their room and they ask to see their view outside only to comment that it looks like an 'elephant graveyard'. For a couple of big spenders that don't really seem to like their digs, they sure do spend some serious time holed up in it eating, and not gambling. Tim and Tom quickly realize their absence from the floor until they are finally found plugging coins in the dollar slots and flirting with any and all the women in the area. With the clear absence of any high stake gambling Tim and Tom find themselves awkwardly enticing the two downstairs for some blackjack action.Speaking of Blackjack, in this episode we also get a better look at Tommy (whose father also works at The Nugget as a host). Tommy is a gregarious young dealer who rubs his pit boss the wrong way. Even though it looks like everyone rubs her the wrong way, it is quite evident that Tommy (who also desperately wants to be a host also) has much to learn in the business. We'll see if he has the goods to leave the pit soon.

While all this is going on we are introduced to Jenn Nelson (who, by the way, does not look anything like Britney Spears as we were told in last weeks previews). Jenn is a young ambitious new comer to Vegas by way of Portland. She has moved to Vegas looking for a great new job, any job for that matter. Upon checking into The Golden Nugget she quickly asks the front desk if they are hiring. She proceeds to work her way through the entire casino and hotel asking for inside info on potential jobs. With no solid job leads at the Nugget she is then met by a man named Ernie who is in the casino with a small blonde entourage he calls 'Independent Hosts'. Right away Ernie tries to get Jenn to work for him doing 'VIP entertaining'. She thinks about it, but first she runs into Tom at Zax Restaurant (for the first two episodes we thought Zax was a nightclub) and quickly introducing herself to him. At first, it seems that Tom blows her off, but she actually gets a chance to sing with Matt Dusk (the resident singer at Zax) who is clearly irritated once again by the casinos politics of letting just about anyone sing on stage. Matt's ego seems intact after Jenn quickly fails to prove she has enough talent to sing at Zax. It's back to the drawing board again for a still unemployed Jenn.gambling She hooks back up with Ernie who promises her huge amounts of money for merely being 'arm candy', she seems interested in the easy money, and she also seems to believe that all she has to do is simply be 'seen' with the client to make money. It is hard to believe any one is still this naive when it comes to Vegas. Alas, Jenn finally wises up and leaves when her client wants to go up to her room almost immediately. While this is taking place, Tim catches on to the situation that is going down in his casino and has Ernie along with his entourage swiftly removed from the premises. Still unemployed Jenn realizes that perhaps Vegas is not the new home for her.

While this weeks episode is entertaining as always, we as the viewer might be thinking this is a more 'scripted' reality TV show. After all we American TV viewers demand more and more drama. Here's to hoping to see a little more actual gambling action in the episodes to come.

Check back here next week to see exactly what happens when Tommy the Blackjack dealer is given a shot at hosting (doesn't look good). We'll also get an interesting look at what happens when a psychic arrives at The Golden Nugget. Will she have the betting powers to bankrupt the casino? Stay tuned - The Casino Reality Show

Episode Four - July 5

In this episode we get to meet some very interesting characters. By now, if you are a regular watcher and update reader, you realize of course that we will not be seeing much of the gambling itself with this reality show. After all, why should this show be any different than the many other reality shows out there? Did you really think you would be learning the secret to Baccarat strategy anyway? Everybody already knows there really isn't one. So, why not get entertained in another way. It's not about the game, it's about the people, and we sure do get to see some interesting points of view from their perspective.

We are first treated to Tim and Tom racing to work (Do they live together?) in there cars for a wager of five thousand dollars. Tim declares this to be "pocket change", but after beating Tom, Tim pretty much sweats Tom for his winnings through the entire episode. Toms reply is "you'll get it in 8 to 10 days". These guys are so competitive, they finally decide that a game of Gin for double or nothing will decide who wins the money. At least for now anyway.

This week we meet Eulisha and her friend Joan. They are driving to Vegas to win enough money to pay off Eulisha's Porche Carrera (aptly named 'Porchina Del La Quise'). While these two are immediately likeable and humorous, we as the viewer have to be wondering gambling if they really think it will be that easy. Eulisha is  the cocky one declaring that she is there to make a 'withdrawal' from Vegas, not a 'deposit'. None the less, they are fun to watch. While these two are working out in the fitness room they run into Justine, a psychic who is quick to give them a bit of advice and it seems for the most part to be accurate. Eulisha does not win the money to pay off her Porche, but she does get a chance to flex her vocal chords signing 'Amazing Grace'gambling with Matt Dusk at Zax lounge. She is so good that Matt fears for his job. His agent even gives her a business card.

While this is all going on, we meet Brian, gambling Feleisha, and their two young sons. This young family has come to Vegas (also) hoping to win money for a specific reason. They want to go to Disney. So, why take the family to Vegas so you can win enough money to go to Disney you ask. Maybe Mom and Dad want an excuse to go to Vegas and gamble. At least it seems that way when, right after check-in, Mom and Dad bolt to the casino, leaving the kids in the (upgraded) hotel room. Don't get me wrong, this seems to be a dream come true for these two young boys as they are quick to ring up room service (don't tell Dad) and order every dessert they can think off. Come on, Mom and Dad will never know. Unless they actually LOOK at the hotel bill. It's just as well that they get to have some fun because they certainly aren't going to Disney with Dad's luck at gambling. After also consulting with the psychic, who says he'll never win money gambling as long as his wife is there to distract him, he realizes he needs to make it up to the kids by taking them to an area attraction called Stratosphere.

Now we go back to the blackjack dealer Tommy, he finally gets his shot at hosting. Tim offers him a peak at the job by letting him shadow another host Steve Grady. After basically babysitting a drunken (high roller) cowboy, Tommy finds that this job has many challenges. We also find out that his job as a dealer has it's own challenges. He deals some winning gambling hands to his sometime girlfriend Alexis. This is strictly against policy and he almost gets fired for it. I doubt they will fire this guy while he is so entertaining to watch. Besides, his pit boss Monique would have no one to despise. I have a feeling we'll be seeing much more of Tommy.

Check back here next week to see what develops when Matt Dusk wants out of the lounge and into the showroom. Will he get the chance to broaden his singing career? We'll also find out what happens when Tom's idea of bringing in showgirls to spice up the casino gets out off control. Stay tuned - The Casino Reality Show

Episode Five - July 12

In this episode we first see Tim and Tom square off on last weeks outstanding five thousand dollar wager between the two casino owners. Last week Tim won a friendly 'race' to work that cost Tom a mere five grand. The two then decided to play a game of Gin in their office (with a witness!) for double or nothing. Tim has to practically convince Tom that he is the winner because he really had no clue. Alas, Tom gets his money back and the two move on.

After that we are introduced to The Trashy Lingerie Girls. They are a group of entertainers brought to the Golden Nugget to spice up the nightlife. Tom hires Billy Richardson, Billy is a night club promoter who  thinks that the girls will be just the ticket. While Tom and Joe Leone, the Director of Entertainment at the Nugget are a little apprehensive, they decide to go with it anyway. Well, right away Tom realizes he has his hands full and is in trouble. These girls are not afraid of nudity and love to flash people. This is a major gaming violation and the girls are warned. With just enough clothing on to be legal, The Trashy Lingerie Girls hit the stage at Zax for very unorganized but good time.

While Zax lounge is being invaded for the weekend by the lingerie crew, it's usual entertainment gambling act, Matt Dusk, is trying his hardest to impress Tim in order to move his show up to the main showroom. Matt has been working gambling on this ever since he set foot in the Nugget gambling . Now is his shot. He and Tim stop by catch Martin Nievera's show in the main showroom. We then realize that Tim has secretly set Matt up to sing a couple songs. Matt is caught off guard, he has a rough start, but in the end he prevails. Will he get the job and the chance to get out off Zax? It now seems like it's all up to Tim and Tom. After the show Tim is on his way to Laguna Beach and he invites Matt along for the weekend. Matt immediately accepts.gambling Who wouldn't. After all Matt has the weekend off because of the lingerie show at Zax.

Remember Zack, the new assistant that Tim and Tom hired (basically to feed the dog). Well, he surfaces long enough to get himself into a little girl trouble. While Tim is busy with Matt, and Tom is busy with the lingerie girls, Zack decides gambling he will also get busy with a lingerie girl. He moves in on Roxanne, who already has a thing for Tom. When Zack asks her to join him for an evening out, she is under the impression that Tom will also be going. They catch a show at The Venetian and afterwards they get something to eat back at the Nugget. Still no Tom, but they are having a good time. Then Zack gets called away by Tim, gambling who needs him to organize his gambling flight to Laguna. Zack ends up leaving her at the dinner table for 20 minutes or so with the check. Not sure what is really going on, she pays the check and goes back to the room will the other lingerie girls. He finally catches up to her, pays her back, and explains everything. He didn't even really get in much trouble either. He's a lucky guy!

After that things wind down. Tim and Matt are in Laguna bonding, he will eventually get the gig in the showroom. We'll keep our eyes open to see when. Tom unloads The Trashy Lingerie Girls. It's back to normal for him. No high rollers to keep an eye on this week.

Check back next week when we find out what happens when new entertainment is being booked for the Nugget. It looks like things are heating up! Stay tuned - The Casino Reality Show as seen on internet casino Lobby
